[TOUR] Epik High Announces 2019 North American Tour

After much anticipation, Epik High has finally announced their 2019 North American Tour!

Epik High, formed in 2001 as an underground hip-hop group, opened a new chapter of hip-hop in South Korea, and has been recognized by many other musicians as one of Korea’s most legendary and influential hip-hop acts. Their popularity has led to a diverse following worldwide. Epik High is the first Korean artist in history to reach the coveted #1 spot on the iTunes hip-hop charts in 2010 with the release of their album, EPILOGUE, shooting past artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, and the Black Eyed Peas. In 2014, their album SHOEBOX topped the iTunes album charts in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Taiwan, and Vietnam, and ranked #2 in Canada and #7 in the United States on the iTunes hip-hop and R&B charts. Their ninth album, We’ve Done Something Wonderful, also had its share of success, peaking at #6 on South Korea’s Gaon chart and # 2 on the US World Albums chart.

On February 28, Epik High announced their 10th album, Sleepless in __________. The album will feature Sunwoo Junga, Code Kunst, Crush, Yuna, and BTS’ Suga and is scheduled to be released on March 11, 2019 ahead of the tour. With each successive album, Epik High has taken a step towards the global music market by displaying a unique approach to music and original lyrics.
