ONEWE is an idol rock band composed of five members. It was originally formed under the name M.A.S in 2015 before making their official debut as ONEWE in 2019. In 2020, ONEWE’s single “Q” entered Billboard’s “World Digital Song Sale” chart at number 12, and in 2021 the band ranked No. 1 on MTV’s “21 Best K-Pop B-sides of 2021” for their song “Aurora,” becoming one of the most recognized K-Pop bands in the music scene.

W24 is an idol rock band formed in 2018. They attained recognition after winning the title of “1st Asian Top Band” at the ‘Asian Top‘ reality show. They also became the most searched K-Pop group in Latin America and the first K-Pop group to appear at the Teletón charity event.

South Club was formed in 2017 by singer Nam Tae Hyun, a former member of WINNER. South Club members describe their music style as alternative rock with blues and rock n’ roll as its foundation. After a successful kick off in Korea, South Club toured Europe and Japan in 2018. In 2021, South Club performed at MU:CON an online showcase streamed worldwide.

Lacuna is a four piece indie band that debuted in 2018. The band blends shoegaze and British rock and roll with the imagery of early 2000s fantasy movies and is known for their superb musicianship and dream-like songs. Lacuna was also a selected artist for “MUSE ON 2020” and performed at MU:CON 2020 held by KOCCA.
D82 (Han Seung Yun Band)
MEMBERS: Han Seung Yun (Vocal & Guitar), Kim Eun Se (Bass), Hwang Min Jae (Drums), Kim Chang Hyun (Keyboard)
D82 is a band that was newly formed with frontman Han Seung Yun taking the lead. Han Seung Yun is a vocalist with 11 years of experience on stage and a former member of LUNAFLY, a K-Pop band notable for performing in more than 32 countries all over the globe. In 2020, Han Seung Yun appeared in Korea’s hit television competition for singers called “Sing Again.”

TOUCHED is an indie band formed in 2020 by Seoul Institute of the Arts graduates. TOUCHED’s vocal Yun Min is often praised for her explosive yet charming voice and powerful performance. The band won first place at the “31st Yoo Jaeha Music Contest” (the first rock band to do so), first place on “Rising Star 4U,” and several other competitions that they have entered.

PATZ is a newly formed synth pop band that includes four band members and two visual designers who are in charge of creative content. PATZ characterize their identity as “parts of the city,” pursuing an urban mood and lyrics that express feelings in the city. Before starting PATZ, Park Jae Hee built a successful career as a session guitarist for synth pop band ADOY and Infinite’s Kim Sung Kyu while drummer Kim Jeong Hoon showed remarkable musical abilities as Kim Sung Kyu’s bandmaster.

OWALLOIL is a three-piece indie band that was formed in 2019. In early 2022, OWALLOIL’s vocal Ryu Ji Ho appeared in Korea’s hit television competition for singers “Sing Again 2.”

SURL is a four-piece indie rock band that debuted in 2018. They are known for their collaborations with hip-hop musicians such as Jay Park and Hash Swan and for being a global K-Band, performing at leading overseas festivals in Canada, Germany, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. In 2022, SURL were invited to perform at 2022 SXSW in the United States.

Band Nah is an indie rock band formed by Seoul National University graduates in 2014. They are famous for their prolific work and great composition skills regardless of music genres. Their portfolio consists of a total of 84 songs including city-pop, psychedelic, indie-pop, and other genres, as well as OSTs for popular K-Dramas such as “YUMI’s Cells,” “Melancholia,” etc.

MGFF is a four-member indie band that made their debut in 2016. In 2018, they won the Golden Prize at the “Penta Super Rookie Contest” held by the prestigious “Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival” and engraved their name in the minds of the public.
CHA SE DAE
MEMBERS: Lee Chan Hee (Vocal), Lee Jun Hyung (Guitar), Nam Go Rae (Bass), Lee Won Hee (Drums)
CHA SE DAE is a four-piece indie rock band that debuted in 2019. They describe their main music style as garage rock and old-fashioned rock n’ roll. The same year as they debuted, CHA SE DAE raised their profile winning the Excellence Award at “2019 EBS Hello Rookie with KOCCA.”

HeyMen is a three-piece indie band that debuted in 2017 and best known for energetic and powerful performances and easy-on-ear music leaning towards pop. In 2020, they participated in MU:CON 2020 Showcase which opened up an opportunity to go global.

Hwanho is a four-piece rock band that was formed in 2018. In 2021, they appeared in JTBC’s “Super Band 2” and captivated viewers with their vocal performance and unique music style.
WALKING AFTER U

Walking After U is a female rock quartet that was formed in 2014 through a collaboration at the “Girls’ Rock Festival Season 6” between bands Rubber Duckie and Swingz. They received much recognition for their outstanding performance. Walking After U is maintaining a focus on live shows and touring, not only in Korea but all over Asia.

UNDER HILLS is a five-member band that was formed one month before the “Great Seoul Invasion” audition. Band’s producer AIRAIR is previously known for writing and arranging Mnet’s “Produce 48” title song “PICK ME” and participating in the album production for K-Pop groups such as IZ*ONE, JO1, and JBJ95.

Hangronan is a newly formed four-piece alternative rock band based in Jeonju city situated in western South Korea. Hangronan is the youngest band among the contestants with an average age of 20. The band mostly gained their fanbase performing local gigs after releasing their first EP Dawn in 2021.

Yudabinband is an indie band that was formed around singer-songwriter Yu Da Bin in 2019 and officially debuted in 2020. Yu Da Bin has gained critical acclaim as a talented singer-songwriter while competing on Mnet’s “Superstar K” as a teenager and making it into the Top 8.
