On November 24, KANGDANIEL released the highly anticipated repackaging of his debut full-length album, The Story: RETOLD, via all digital and streaming platforms. This release came six months after the initial release of The Story.

This newly repackaged album is designed to be a composition of stories, as there are various stories in our lives that can spread and transform to create new tales. The 15-track album has been rearranged and includes three new tracks – “Selfish,” “Nirvana ft. pH1, WDBZ,” “Ghost,” – as well as a remix version of “Ride 4 U (Remix),” and a solo version of “Nirvana,” in order to retell KANGDANIEL’s own story.

This release comes on the heels of a strong 2022 for the artist. KANGDANIEL kicked off the year by making his acting debut in Disney+ Korean drama “Rookie Cops” and followed this up with a performance of his hit single “Antidote” for GRAMMYs “Press Play” series in April. In May he released his first full-length album, The Story, and, the following month, made his U.S. broadcast debut, performing the album’s fourth track, “Parade,” on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
