About Car, the garden
Car, the garden’s stage name is the literal translation of his Korean name, Cha (“car”) Jung-Won (“garden”). Since 2015, Car, the garden has captured the hearts of many fans thanks to his husky voice and sarcastic humor. His solo concert, Home Sweet Home, held last December in Korea sold out within one minute of tickets going on sale and prompted a third date to be added shortly after.
As of now, the singer has released a total of three albums, two EPs, and a large number of singles. In particular, he got recognized by international audiences for having participated in K-drama OSTs, such as “Tree,” which accumulated more than 8.6 million views on YouTube, from the K-drama, Chocolate. Others include “Closely Far Away,” “Happy Ending,” “Scars Leave Beautiful Trace” from the famous K-drama Alchemy of Souls Part 1, and “Romantic Sunday” from Hometown Cha Cha Cha.
Signed to Dooroodooroo Artist Company, along with many prominent K-indie artists such as HYUKOH and Chang Kiha, Car, the garden now steps into a long-awaited international career.
