Jpop girl group Perfume announced that they will be playing their debut UK concert at the O2 Academy Islington on Friday 5th July.
Perfume are made up of three members from Hiroshima, Japan. The girls (Aa-CHAN, KASHIYUKA, and NOCCHi) were formed in 2000 with their debut release in 2005. Their first number one in the Japanese charts was with “Game”, released in April 2008. Since then Perfume have managed to reach the top with all following albums that have been released.
Perfume made big headlines in 2010 when then performed to a sold out show at Tokyo Dome. The group also received the Best Asian Pop Artist award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). In 2012 Perfume sold out in four Asian countries with their global tour, “Perfume WORLD TOUR 1st”
Tickets for the London concert will go on sale 9am on Monday 15th April at £20.
