VIXX have gone gothic in their latest music video for “Hyde”.
The new music video has received an R rating from the Korean Media Board. The horror theme to the video which contains creepy creatures and gruesome makeup has earned it the R rating.
Jellyfish Entertainment, VIXX’s agency, have said that they will not be re-editing the video and will be released as an R rated video to the public. VIXX stand by this because they want to portray the story to the public as they watch the video.
Although the video will not be suitable for the young k-pop audience, the “Jekyll and Hyde” theme shows the boys transformed into demons.
