Concept chameleons VERIVERY are “pulling the trigger,” with a sneak peek at their upcoming mini-album SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 2: HOLE]. The highlight medley released on August 12 at midnight (KST) threw listeners in for a spin with sugar, spice, and a little bit of everything nice mixed into their track list.
The medley release arrived after a wild week’s worth of new content, starting off with a first person POV video of someone trying to escape from a desolate building. It was followed by back-to-back release of the album’s official of “Sink” and “Lock” concept photos of members Dongheon, Hoyoung, Minchan, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung, and Kangmin.
The medley showcased snippets of the title track, “Trigger,” followed by the addictive beat of “Underdog,” the snappy melody of “Prom,” and the club-fitting beat of “Heart Attack” that will want you to turn up at any party.
VERIVERY’s sixth mini-album SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 2 : HOLE] is set to release on August 23. Fans can look forward to the continuing storyline in their message surrounding the topic of the ‘O’ series, taking on the various symbolic meanings that it can have. VERIVERY will confront their inner darkness within themselves and discover how to use it, but this time with all seven members.
