Two idols booked and an arrest warrent issued for singer ‘A’ in Open World Investigation

The police have revealed that two idol members have been booked and have issued an arrest warrent for ‘A’ for the investigation of Open World Entertainment and their CEO.

On April 18th, 2012, Seoul Kangnam Police told TVDaily, “We are issuing out a warrant of arrest for the singer ‘A’, who is in his 30s, involved in the case.” They also commented, “The two idol group members have also been booked without detention.” The individual ‘A’ is known for having a personal connection with the CEO of Open World Entertainment, regardless of them not being under  that label.

The case will be handed over to prosecutors on April 19th, 2012, upon the police concluding the investigation.

There is no confirmation on whether or not the group ‘The Boss’ is involved. According to News1, “The idol members involved in this case are not from The Boss… The two members involved who carried out the commands by the CEO have been booked.”

Open World Entertainment continues to deny the involvement of their artists. They also apologized to the public earlier today through an official statement.
