Taeyang to pair up with G-Dragon for upcoming YGE hip-hop project

Following the reveal of G-Dragon as the first member of YG Entertainment’s upcoming hip-hop project, the management agency took to their social media accounts to announce that the artiste that will be joining him is none other than fellow Big Bang member Taeyang!

According to the teaser photo as released by YG LIFE, the duo would be releasing a special project song on November 21, as part of the hip-hop project. Three other YG artistes who have yet to be revealed are also involved in the project, and are expected to be collaborating in a separate project to be scheduled for December 02.

This collaboration is highly anticipated by VIPs (Big Bang’s official fanclub), since the group has been focusing on their solo activities, and have not released an album as a quintet since their 2012 Alive album.

Taeyang and G-Dragon have previously collaborated on several songs from their individual solo albums, most recently in track ‘Stay with Me’ from Taeyang’s Rise album.

Prior to the news release, online netizens have commented that the duo was spotted filming a music video together in Los Angeles, though the news was not verified by the agency.
