At the end of last year, SHINee revealed that they were going to make their first Korean comeback in over a year at the beginning of 2012.

Also, SHINee recently performed the rock remix of Lucifer at MBC’s Gayo Daejun. At the end of this performance, an unfamiliar track started playing, chanting “SHINee is Back” for about 20 seconds and the members performed accordingly. But this short performance was cut from the broadcast as the cameras had switched too soon. SHINee’s member Jong Hyun confirmed through UFO that it was in fact a teaser for their comeback.

This did leave many fans disappointed but fancams managed to show what the short teaser was meant to look like:

Also, a rumour went round last year about the name of the title track. Since then, the Norwegian producers working with SHINee have confirmed the rumours and that the comeback Title Song is to be called Super Hero.
Professor Kim Nan Do of Seoul University also revealed that he would be writing the lyrics for SHINee’s new song:

“To update you on my recent whereabouts, I’m currently ripping my hair out over writing the lyrics for SHINee’s new song.

Key told fans through UFO that the album is full of tracks that are bound to make fans’ “hearts burst” which has left many feeling very excited.
