Premium streaming platform LIVENow announces a new musical, Meissa’s Song, streaming exclusively this holiday season.
Meissa’s Song will star CHANYEOL from EXO, Kim Myungsoo (best known as L from INFINITE), and Jung Daehyun (formerly of B.A.P), and will debut original music that fuses the best of K-Pop sounds with traditional musical elements, all in a first-of-its-kind format. The musical is set in two nations: Kamur, a fictional country faced with an ongoing civil war, and Korea, where K-Pop auditions are actively held. The storyline follows the tale of Kamur-native Raman (played by CHANGYEOL) who travels to Korea in search for a soldier, Meissa, who sparked his passion and dreams of becoming a K-Pop star. The musical commemorates the 30th anniversary of South Korea joining the United Nations.
