On June 10 Lee Hyori, vegetarian and animal welfare activist, tweeted, “Tonight at 11:10 p.m. the SBS special – ‘If the meat hurts we hurt too’ will air. Do you know the story behind the meat you eat?”
This SBS special focused on the condition and life of the meat we eat and raised awareness about the animals from which meat comes from.

She then tweeted “Don’t look away just because the truth is difficult. Please look at the truth behind what went on in the food we are eating.”
