KARA to recruit new members through ‘KARA Project’ – first 2 teasers revealed!

Following the departure of members Nicole and Jiyoung earlier this year, DSP Media has decided to recruit two new members to girl group KARA, through an upcoming variety programme called KARA Project.

On May 13, the management agency announced that the show would showcase seven of the company’s female trainees, who are currently in the running for the coveted spots as KARA’s new members. Currently, KARA is a three-member group, consisting of Goo Hara, Han Seungyeon and Park Gyuri.

A special website has been set up, with a countdown timer that reveals one of the BABY KARA’s daily. As of today, two of the contestants, Sojin and Shiyoon, have been revealed.

The show is currently slated to air for six episodes, with the final episode airing live, even as the newest KARA members are selected through real-time voting.

KARA Project is set to air on May 27 in Korea.
