BTS makes plans to meet its fans through an online/offline concert in October.
On August 13 following its 2020 corporate briefing, Big Hit Entertainment released the official poster of ‘BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E’ on all of BTS’ SNS platforms and its global platform, Weverse. The concert will be on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday October 11.
The released concert poster shows the seven members in a desert, sporting sharp red blazers and black slacks as they walk deeper into the desert with a red cloth trailing behind them.
According to the official concert announcement on Weverse, limited seating will be made available for the live concert:
“Only limited seating will be available for purchase for the offline performances in accordance with government-mandated concert seat distancing measures for COVID-19 prevention. Please stay tuned for additional notices for more detailed information.”
The concert was first announced at today’s pre-recorded 2020 corporate briefing where Big Hit Entertainment’s founder and chairman-CEO Bang Shi Hyuk and other executives reviewed Big Hit Labels and its business branches’ work thus far and their future plans. For the Big Hit Labels side, it was confirmed that, following the 2020 debut of the upcoming boy group from the ‘I-LAND’ survival show, a new girl group will debut under Source Music in 2021 followed by a new boy group in 2022. Bang also confirmed that TOMORROW x TOGETHER (TXT) is preparing for a comeback this Fall.
While discussing BTS’ upcoming comeback with their new single “Dynamite” (coming out August 21), Bang announced a new BTS album and BTS game called “BTS Universe Story” is slated to be released in 4Q (fourth quarter of 2020). Other BTS topics discussed include the launch of BigHit Edu’s “Learn! Korean with BTS” Korean language books and language courses, the future release of a mobile rhythm game, and the launch of BTS new cartoon counterparts, TinyTAN.
