One of kpop’s biggest idol groups, Big Bang, could make their comeback much sooner than fans were expecting.
Big Bang are due to perform their ‘Big Show’ concert in March, which led fans to expect that they would be back to sing around the world in March too. A new album from Big Bang was expected to be released, at the earliest, late February.
Taeyang gave an interview to Starnews saying, “We will hold the ‘Big Show’ in March. We will also release our new album around that time. We haven’t decided yet if we will release regular album first or mini album first then release regular album.”
YG Entertainment, the agency behind Big Bang, are working on their new album as well as looking for a director for the music video. Meanwhile in the background they are preparing for the marketing around their comeback.
The reason most people thought that their comeback would be around February is because that individual members were creating songs during the break. If that is the case then Big Bang will be launching their new album 10 months after their special album release, which includes “Love Song” and “Stupid Liar,”.
Big Bang won Worldwide Act Prize at the ’2011 MTV EMA,’ in November and are scheduled to attend the ’15th Anniversary YG Family Concert’, in Japan this month as well as carrying on with promotional work in Japan during February.
