Leading entertainment company CJ ENM announced today the nominations for 2025 MAMA AWARDS, which will take place in Hong Kong for the first time in seven years in late November.
The winners of the 2025 MAMA AWARDS, presented by Visa as the title sponsor, will be revealed at a star-studded two-day ceremony at Kai Tak Stadium, Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong starting November 28. The world’s No.1 K-Pop awards centers on “HEUNG,” the distinctly Korean spirit of fun and excitement that has captivated global audiences, with the concept slogan of “UH-HEUNG,” echoing the roar of a tiger, an animal symbolizing Korea’s strength and spirit.
The album/song eligibility period runs from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. The albums, songs, and artists are assessed based on a holistic evaluation of global music data and a panel of specialists.
Fan voting for the 2025 MAMA AWARDS will begin on October 16 (KST), with the “FANS’ CHOICE” 1st VOTE running through October 26 to select finalists for the “FANS’ CHOICE MALE” and “FANS’ CHOICE FEMALE” categories. FANS’ CHOICE 2nd VOTE and “VISA FANS’ CHOICE OF THE YEAR” voting will open on October 30 (KST). Fans can vote on the global K-Pop content platform Mnet Plus and X. Every year, the MAMA AWARDS have continuously reflected global K-pop trends and fan voices.
