On January 8, KINO released his new single “Fashion Style,” showing the direction of his new sound. The song serves as the singer’s first single released since establishing his own label, NAKED.
With the theme of “fashion” and witty lyrics, the song conveys the message “Don’t try to be someone else, You are most beautiful when you are comfortable in your own skin.” The song is co-produced with songwriter NATHAN, who also worked on KINO’s 2022 single “POSE.”
Released under the title, “Fashion Style: omw to see you,” the POV music video went beyond beautiful visuals. It was filmed from the point of view of the viewer, making the audience the main character to further draw them closer to the song and its message.
KINO, who is known for his fashion sense, is shown sporting various street fashion styles throughout the video. The video also features an illustration of British model Kate Moss, drawn by KINO himself, who was the main inspiration for “Fashion Style.”
As soon as the video was released, fans congratulated the singer and expressed how proud they were of his newest body of work.
