(G)I-DLE’S “I DO” Makes History on US Top 40 Radio, Charting as The Highest Independent Asian Artist

The First Female K-Pop Group from an Independent Label Makes US Mediabase Top 25 with Hot Debut Album and lands Billboard 200 Top 25

The K-Pop powerhouse girl group (G)I-DLE has achieved a historic moment by continually breaking their own records with their English EP HEAT. “I DO” remained on the Mediabase chart for nine consecutive weeks, reaching No. 25, while HEAT landed at No. 25 on the “Billboard 200” chart. Additionally, they topped Billboard’s “Current Pop Album Sales” at No. 1 and landed at No. 2 on the “Album Sales” chart.

(G)I-DLE’s recent achievements are an indication of their continuously growing audience, both in North America and worldwide. It highlights their significant impact on the global fanbase as their popularity continues to rise.

In a groundbreaking milestone for (G)I-DLE, their hit single “Nxde” has achieved multiple significant accomplishments. It landed at No. 39 on the Mediabase Top 40 chart, debuted at No. 40 on the Billboard “Pop Airplay” chart, and was featured on Rolling Stone’s list of “The 100 Best Songs of 2022.” Notably, “Nxde” became the first Korean language song to make this highly influential chart, marking a historic achievement for the group.

Furthermore, (G)I-DLE’s mini album I love released in 2022, saw enormous success, surpassing 700,000 stock pre-orders and entering the “Billboard 200” charts.
