About

Xdinary Heroes debuted under JYP Entertainment in December 2021. The band’s name is short for “Extra-ordinary Heroes,” which embodies their message that anyone can become a hero. The group consists of Gun-il (drums), Jungsu (keyboards), Gaon (guitar and rap), O.de (keyboards, synths, and rap), Jun Han (guitar), and Jooyeon (vocals and bass).

Their catchy debut hit single, “Happy Death Day,” reached No. 12 on Billboard’s “World Digital Sales Chart.” They followed up with critically acclaimed EPs in 2022 and 2023, including Hello, world!, Overload, and Deadlock. Overload, released in November 2022, charted at No. 19 on Billboard’s “Heatseekers Chart” and No. 14 on the “World Albums Chart.”

In October 2023, Xdinary Heroes released their fourth EP, Livelock, praised for its energetic and rock-heavy sound. The EP reflects the band’s artistic growth and explores their concept of transitioning between the real world and their on-stage alter-ego, “♭form,” where they become heroes. The name Livelock is inspired by the computer term for “infinite repetition,” aligning with the IT-themed names of their previous releases. Their music is known for its compelling storytelling, explosive instrumentals, and distinctive identity.
