Singer-songwriter SURAN is set to achieve a historic milestone, becoming the first Korean artist to hold a solo fan concert in Ghana and West Africa. The highly anticipated event, Jaese Presents SURAN Live in Ghana, will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Liberty Hall in Tema, a 1,000-capacity auditorium.
SURAN’s Ghana concert marks a historic expansion of Korean music presence in Africa. Although several Korean artists have visited or performed on the continent—including Eric Nam, N.Flying, ATEEZ, aespa, and Ailee—SURAN’s show stands out as the first dedicated solo fan concert in Ghana and West Africa, making the event a landmark moment for regional fans of Korean music.
With her stunning vocals and unmatched artistry, SURAN’s December performance promises a captivating evening of music, storytelling, and cross-cultural connection—setting the stage for a new chapter of live Korean performances in the region.
JABOUT JAESE PRESENTS
Jaese Presents is a new live show franchise designed to spotlight music talents from South Korea, Japan, China, and Thailand in Africa. It aims to bring more K-Pop and Asian artists to African stages in response to long-standing fan demand. The franchise will launch its first show in Ghana, with plans underway to expand to Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, and Côte d’Ivoire.
Over the years, Jaese Productions has been instrumental in advancing K-Pop representation across Sub-Saharan Africa. The company previously launched two dedicated radio shows: “Pop Central” on YFM in Ghana and “The K-pop Hitlist” in Nigeria. They expanded K-Pop’s African media presence through interviews with artists such as P1Harmony, B.I, and Kep1er, among others. Jaese Productions also strengthened industry insight by sharing analytics, including Spotify’s 2022 Sub-Saharan Africa K-Pop data and TurnTable Charts’ 2024 findings showing Korean artists made up 18% of albums charting in Nigeria.
