I.O.I to Reunite for 5th Anniversary ‘I.5.I – Yes, I Love It!’ Broadcast

A promise five years in the making, the beloved girls of I.O.I will be reuniting for a live broadcast for their fifth anniversary!

I.O.I was the first project group formed from the 2016 Mnet idol survival program, Produce 101. Yeonjung, Nayoung, Mina, Doyeon, Chaeyeon, Kyulkyung, Sohye, Chungha, Yoojung, Seojeong, and Somi officially debuted on May 4, 2016 with “Dream Girls” from their debut album, Chrysalis. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Gaon Album Chart upon while all tracks on the album charted on the Gaon Digital Chart, with the title track peaking at No. 7 a week after debut. The girls were promoted actively as both a group and a subunit throughout the year. In June 2016, I.O.I’s subunit group (consisting of Nayoung, Chungha, KyulKyung, Sohye, Yoojung, Doyeon, and Somi) released “Whatta Man (Good Man).” By October, I.O.I received their first music show win with “Very Very Very” from their EP Miss Me?. I.O.I disbanded on January 31, 2017 but not without making a final promise to their fans -to reunite together for their 5th anniversary.

Holding true to that promise, I.5.I – Yes, I Love It! will be broadcast for free on Tuesday, May 4 at 7PM (KST) exclusively on olleh tv, seezn, and TVING. However, of the eleven original members, Mina and Kyulkyung will not be in attendance due to Mina’s schedules and Kyulkyung lives in China.
