On April 21, Denver got a high-energy dose of K-Pop as 8TURN took to the stage at the Summit Music Hall on their 2025 8TURN 1st World Tour [8TURNRISE]. Even though it was a Sunday night in the mile-high city, 8TURN fans, known as TURNING, still came through. They all buzzed with excitement as they lined the block, eager for the concert ahead. TURNING flooded the venue, sporting 8TURN-inspired concert fits, carrying lightsticks, and radiating vibrant spirits.
There was no doubt Denver TURNING were eager for 8TURN’s long-awaited visit.. They displayed their affection by taking selfies around the venue, handing out fun freebies, and standing in the sprawling merch line as they waited for members, MYUNG HO, JAE YUN, MIN HO, YOON SUNG, HAE MIN, KYUNG MIN, YUN GYU, and SEUNG HEON to make their grand entrance. Each second closer to showtime only amplified the energy, as TURNING counted down to the first glimpse of the group.
The venue roared as the clock struck 7:30PM and the lights dimmed, preparing for 8TURN to enter the stage. A wave of cheers surged through the crowd the moment the first beat dropped. The members appeared on stage in dark silhouettes, striking powerful and ominous poses under dark red lights before bursting into their opening song, “WORLD.” The show began with immense energy as the crowd was swept into a whirlwind of light, sound, and synchronized movements.

Dressed in chic blue-toned outfits and light-washed denim, the members mimicked the cool stage lights. 8TURN executed sharp choreography, each move punctuated by heavy bass and flashing lights. Fans screamed along the lyrics to “RU-PUM PUM,” their echoes merging with the music, while lightsticks danced in unison like stars across the sea of TURNING.
8TURN’s energy was magnetic. MYUNG HO’s gaze pierced through the haze, JAE YUN’s vocals soared beautifully with clarity and control while MIN HO’s polished and precise dance moves added texture to the group’s presence. Every detail, from the dramatic lighting to the seamless transitions, was carefully crafted and drew the audience deeper into 8TURN’s trance.

Between sets, the members took every opportunity they could to chat with TURNING. They expressed how excited they were to be on their first world tour, to come to Denver, and to meet their Denver TURNING. The members held a “Get to Know 8TURN” moment where they answered fan questions that were written on sticky notes prior to the show.
JAE YUN shared that if he weren’t an idol, he would be a firefighter, while SEUNG HEON confessed that his late-night snack was sugar-free chocolates. MYUNG HO promised that they would come back to Denver again and was thanked with loud cheers from TURNING.
YOON SEUNG explained he didn’t have a favorite animal until visiting the U.S., where he discovered a large Samoyed dog. YUN GYU reflected on his previous blue hair, saying he would dye it again if he grew it out longer, or maybe even get a buzz cut, though fans playfully booed at the idea.
MIN HO grabbed two sticky notes. One read “Do you like Denver?” to which he responded, “Of course! I love Denver,” as the crowd roared. His second asked for his favorite flower, and he sweetly replied, “My favorite flower…is you.” HAE MIN said his favorite food in Denver was a massive three-patty burger he had after their Random Play Dance in downtown, and KYUNG MIN shared that his dream venue is the Sphere in Las Vegas.
After the Q&A, crew members brought out eight mic stands and 8TURN transitioned into their performances of “I Want You Now,” and “Say My Name.” Next, the group moved into unit stages where the maknaes, SEUNG HEON and YUN GYU, performed a rap cover of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” After their duet performance, they left the stage while the other members returned to chat with TURNING and get their reactions. The two members returned shortly with footballs and a clothing rack of letterman-style jackets. TURNING immediately recognized the reference to 8TURN’s debut era and screamed from their seats. The eight members wore the jackets and performed “WE” from their 2023 debut mini album, 8TURNRISE, followed by the Mnet performance version of their“The Game.”

After the nostalgic set, the group held a dance challenge among the members. They split up into two teams of four, and the winning group earned the chance to start their hair and makeup last at the next tour —meaning an extra hour of sleep. KYUNG MIN, MYUNG HO, HAEMIN, and YOON SEUNG delivered sharp, snappy moves to MARK’s “+82 Pressin’,” while MINHO, JAE YUN, SEUNG HEON, and YUN GYU followed with Stray Kids’ “Chk Chk Boom,” showcasing fluid and commanding choreography that highlighted their synchronization. The loudest cheers went to the second group, signaling their win
8TURN announced they had one more special unit stage prepared for Denver TURNING, and MYUNG HO, YOON SEUNG, and HAEMIN returned to the stage dressed in all black. The lights dimmed, and the trio elegantly glided into a cover of BTS’ “Black Swan.” Illuminated by low purple lights, the three perfectly replicated the globally renowned group’s iconic choreography. Chills were sent down the crowd’s spines as the final chords rang out through the speakers and the trio froze in their ending poses. The room was completely still, everyone’s eyes locked in awe at the stunning display.

8TURN went on to perform more tracks like “TIC TAC” and “LEGGO,” each song bringing new currents of energy to the audience. The members shifted effortlessly between sharp, high-impact choreo and playful crowd interactions, keeping their fans engaged and glowing with excitement. The venue’s atmosphere grew more electric with each moment, proving 8TURN’s talent and powerful stage presence.
As Sunday night came to a close, 8TURN took their final bows, thanked their Denver TURNING, and reluctantly waved goodbye as they exited the stage. TURNING responded with loud cheers of gratitude, appreciation, and adoration for their members as they waved their lightsticks with cheerful smiles.
8TURN delivered a polished, high-energy performance that showcased both their growth as idols and their ability to genuinely connect with their fans. It was a memorable stop for Denver TURNING and hopefully not the last time they will see these rising stars in their city.
