On April 23, 1VERSE took the stage in Frankfurt, showing exactly why they’re starting to make a name for themselves through a combination of strong performances, genuine fan interactions, and a personality that shines both on and off stage. Currently active members Seok, Kenny, Nathan, and Aito delivered a show in Frankfurt that felt both intimate and effortlessly fun, creating a light, welcoming atmosphere that captivated the crowd.

The Frankfurt date was their second time in Germany, but also the final stop of their SHATTEREDEuropean tour, making the night even more special. Fittingly, it was the largest crowd of the entire tour, a full-circle moment and a strong, celebratory way to close this chapter.

From the very beginning, 1VERSE made a point of connecting with fans locally, even introducing themselves in German, with Kenny going the extra mile by preparing his speech on a handwritten note in the language. The effort didn‘t go unnoticed, adding a personal layer to the night that resonated throughout the venue.

Musically, the setlist showcased both their versatility and influence. Opening with their own track “Shattered,” the group quickly transitioned into a series of covers that highlighted their range, including BTS’ “Idol,” SEVENTEEN’s “God of Music,” RIIZE’s “Get a Guitar,” and TVXQ!’s “Hug.” Across the set, the crowd stayed highly engaged, reacting loudly to each cover and often singing along even when the group shifted into unexpected song choices. Each performance was delivered with precision but never felt overly serious, fitting perfectly with the evening’s relaxed tone, as the crowd responded with giggles during the members’ between-song interactions and the kind of easy, shared energy that had fans naturally engaging with those around them.

The night also featured standout unit and solo stages that gave each member a moment to shine. Seok and Aito delivered a captivating rendition of BTS’ “House of Cards,” while Aito took center stage with TAEMIN’s “Drip Drop.” Seok followed with an emotional take on WOODZ’s “Drowning,” showcasing his vocal depth.

Kenny and Nathan’s unit performance of “I’m so tired…” by Lauv & Troye Sivan leaned into the group’s softer side, before both members stepped into individual spotlights – Kenny with Ed Sheeran’s “The A Team” and Nathan with Dominic Fike’s “Babydoll.” These stripped-down moments added a layer of vulnerability that balanced out the high-energy group stages.

Beyond the music, it was the group’s personality and their easy connection with their fans, 5STARZ, that truly defined the night. This came through especially during the playful on-stage “Fact Check” segment, where both members and the audience guessed who was “most likely” to do certain things, turning it into a genuinely interactive moment rather than just a bit. The segment drew some of the loudest reactions of the night, with fans immediately cheering, laughing, and reacting to each reveal as the answers became more chaotic. Kenny quickly became the center of attention, being voted most likely to start his own pizza restaurant, only to joke about how he’s allergic to tomatoes and can’t have dairy. The irony set the tone for the segment’s humor.

Kenny also unintentionally secured his title as the group’s most chaotic member when he recounted accidentally giving hotel staff the wrong room number after forgetting his hotel key. It came as no surprise when both members and fans agreed he would be the least likely to survive a zombie apocalypse, a title he fully embraced. Meanwhile, Aito casually admitted he would probably just give up in such a scenario, adding to the group’s self-aware humour. Nathan, on the other hand, was voted most likely to adopt a pet during the tour, which led the members into a humorous discussion about what touring with a dog would look like, as they playfully ran with the idea on stage.

Between the jokes, the group didn’t shy away from more personal moments. Nathan shared his experience of arriving in Korea and immediately being thrown into recording sessions, opening up emotionally from the very beginning: “It was a bumpy rollercoaster, but we made it because of you guys, and because of you, I could make it forever.”

Kenny expressed his gratitude candidly: “Thank you for supporting a group of misfits and believing in us.”

And Hyuk reflected on the scale of their journey so far: “Before touring, I could never imagine being loved by so many people, and I am so happy to show the performances that I worked really hard for and will continue to work even harder.”

The final stretch of the concert brought the energy back up with powerful performances of ATEEZ’s “HALAZIA” and “Guerilla,” as well as Stray Kids’ “LALALALA,” before closing the main set with their own track “WABIF (Wide Awake Before I Fall).”

For the encore, 1VERSE returned with “Your Idol” from KPop Demon Hunters and “Multiverse,” with fans singing along and cheering through the final songs, voices echoing through the venue as hands were raised in the air in sync with the music, bringing the show to an uplifting close that reflected the connection built throughout the night.

As the closing night of their European tour, the Frankfurt show didn’t just mark the ending; it felt like a milestone. Ending on their biggest crowd gave the night an added sense of achievement, for both the group and the fans who have supported them along the way.
