On April 25, EVERGLOW, known for pushing the envelope with girl crush concepts, ended their U.S. leg at The Novo in Los Angeles for the 2026 EVERGLOW WORLD TOUR [RE:CODE]. The tour was the first world tour since EVERGLOW’s reformation in 2025. Forevers (EVERGLOW’s fandom name) have been anticipating their return since 2024, and they readied themselves for a wonderful treat. Though the show featured stripped-down production, E:U, Sihyeon, Aisha, and Onda proved more than capable of commanding the stage with their powerful performances and stunning vocals.

The small but mighty LA Forever crowd lined up outside The Novo hours in advance for their exclusive VIP soundcheck experience. While the venue did not offer tour merchandise, that did little to dampen Forevers’ spirits as they filled the room with chanting and barking for EVERGLOW.

After an all-black and white VCR that highlighted the new four-member lineup, the members began the show with “Focus,” a track from their latest album, CODE. Their swift, calculated movements became the highlight of the performance, with a genre switch to a clubbier sound during the bridge to show off their voguing skills.

The voguing continued with “LA DI DA” with more intense progression. Satisfyingly, the crowd yelled “EVERGLOW, forever, let’s go!” with great and intense energy. Choreography-wise, the team did not waver, and the new formations were still powerful and aggressive.

After an introductory ment, EVERGLOW brought the house down with the high octane “Colorz” that included a hair whipping climax that got the crowd going. Aisha and Onda shared an intimate floor dance moment during “Company,” which garnered serious attention and intrigue.

The members continued to introduce their songs to the crowd with the next ment. EVERGLOW became playful with their fans, making it more personal than the usual ments seen at K-Pop live shows. There was a moment where Sihyeon pretended to faint to prepare for their next song, “Zombie,” which was met with laughter and teasing comments. The performance was filled with body rolls and slower choreography, different from EVERGLOW’s fast-paced tracks.

Next came another VCR that depicted the members in different action-based scenarios that involved breaking free, including cracking a code as a spy and attempting to escape a prison cell. The common theme was cracking a code, which blended perfectly with them performing their newest song, “CODE.” The traverse trap and dubstep-filled title track featured lots of talk rap, and the choreography was a mix of graceful and fast-paced movements. EVERGLOW kept the pumped-up vigor going with “Pirate” and “SLAY” as Forevers sang along passionately to both songs, ending the charismatic performances with barking and cheering. It was fun to hear Forevers chant, “Slay, slay, slay!”

“You guys are so adorable, so cute, so lovely, so fancy, so angelic!” Sihyeon complimented as the crowd cheered loudly.

The members explained the meaning and intention behind the last few songs, including how the “scary” concept came to be. EVERGLOW was watching a horror movie the night before at the hotel, but hilariously could not recall the name of the film in English since it was a Korean film.

Onda then elaborated on what was behind the VCR. “Sihyeon fought against countless prejudices, and Aisha searched for the truth, a need for information. I tried to break free from suffocating restrictions. E:U was struggling to untangle some twisted cords,” she added, generating some chuckles from the audience.

EVERGLOW returned with a softer, more demure side for an intimate seated performance of “Hush” and “Made Me Feel.” “Hush” complemented Sihyeon’s and E:U’s vocals while Sihyeon’s high notes in “Made Me Feel” got the audience in their feelings. The members exhibited very interactive fan service, waving and smiling at their fans in the pit.

Switching gears, EVERGLOW returned to the girl-crush concept they’re known for with “First.” The intense, fast-paced choreography was stunning, and the audience clapped along to the track’s beat. As the members struck their final pose, the crowd erupted into passionate barking.

The members also made their final comments, starting with Sihyeon thanking everyone for coming. She noted that she needed to rest before the Canada leg due to her sore throat. E:U thanked the staff and support for making the tour possible.

“So many of you guys showed up to the LA show. We’re very thankful,” Onda expressed. “Are you guys going to come back for our (next) U.S. tour?”

A resounding yes came from the LA Forevers, making the members beam with pride.

Aisha wrapped up the Korean-speaking portion of their ending ment by stating that there were more songs for them to perform after, mostly the “popping popular songs” from EVERGLOW. E:U also emphasized her thanks for the staff again, asking the audience to thank them as well.

“Even though it’s been two and a half years since we last came to L.A., thank you for waiting for us and for cheering as passionately as you did back then,” Onda continued. “We will repay your love through our music and performances.”

“Let’s promise to meet again!” Sihyeon yelled to lots of people, applauding and cheering.

The lights dimmed once more as EVERGLOW got into formation for “Adios,” which was met with immense fanfare and excitement. LA Forevers loudly sang “Goodbye au revoir adios (What?) / Goodbye au revoir adios (Yeah!) / Goodbye au revoir adios!” with chants that reverberated throughout the venue. The members continued the hits with “DUN DUN,” which included an EDM-infused dance break section that thoroughly impressed LA Forevers.

After the final VCR played, which illustrated EVERGLOW’s love for Forevers, they re-emerged again with “Bon Bon Chocolat,” the group’s debut single. EVERGLOW used this time to interact with the audience by picking up plushes and slogans from the crowd, waving, completing hand hearts, and making eye contact with everyone. The members also danced bits of the choreography, giving the L.A. Forevers love.

For the final ment, EVERGLOW and Forevers took a photo together. The members also teased a new song by humming it and spoiling its point choreography. It kept the crowd going, and in the end, the EVERGLOW members completed the wave, ending with Sihyeon blowing a kiss to the crowd. The audience went wild before the final song, “Can’t Be Broken,” with continued fan service and splendid vocals from the group.

Once the show ended and the highest tier Forevers started to line up for the hi-bye and 4:1 photos, the rest left talking about EVERGLOW’s never-ending charisma on stage. The show production itself was minimalistic in nature, but it didn’t erase the fact that EVERGLOW was here to stay, freshly reintroduced again as a quartet. It was clear that Forevers were always going to be at their side, no matter what happened.
