SM Entertainment have confirmed that Super Junior’s Yesung will be enlisting in the military. Yesung will be the fourth member of Super Junior to do National Service. Kangin has completed his 2 year enlistment, while Heechul and Leeteuk entered the military last year in October.
SM Entertainment said, “Although Super Junior is a global group and has fans from all around the world, he requested to enter the army quietly and so we have decided to go by his wishes.”
Yesung will report to Jeongju 35th Residential Division to begin 4 weeks of basic training before being assigned a location to service as a public service worker for 23 months.
Unfortunately Yesung will have to miss the South America leg of the “Super Show 5” tour, which is scheduled to start on April 21.
