SM Entertainment will be holding global auditions in 15 cities in 5 countries. SM Entertainment are behind artists like BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, and f(x).
The audition countries will include, Korea, China, the United States, Canada and Japan. It is scheduled to start from January 7 through to March 24 in 2012.
The auditions will start in cities around Korea with Busan holding the first auditions on January 7, Daegu on January 8, Daejeon on January 14, Gwangju on January 15, and in Seoul on January 28 and 29.
Following the Korean auditions, in Febuary they will go to China and the US. Finishing off in Canada and Japan in March.
Since the announcement, fans have been waiting eagerly to enter the competition as the artists on the label have global popularity.
Japan fans are extremely excited about the auditions because it is the first time that auditions have been opened in Japan for SM.
SM are offering anyone who makes it through the opportunity to sign a contract with SM, regardless of sex and age. All the costs of the new entertainment will be covered by SM
