East Coast fans’ prayers have been answered!
After announcing KCON 2015‘s move to Los Angeles’ Staples Center, KCON has revealed that the “All Things Hallyu” convention will expand to New York. The inaugural event will take place on August 8 at the famed Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Located in the heart of the Metropolitan area, the Prudential Center has hosted countless of world acts, including K-pop’s beloved Big Bang, 2PM, G.O.D. and many more.
KCON 2015 will be filled with panels, workshops, games, food, and more that encompasses every aspect of Korean entertainment and culture. Then, fans will immerse themselves in the ultimate Hallyu experience with a star-studded line-up consisting of the biggest and hottest names in K-Pop to close off the night.
For this vast expansion, KCON partnered with IDG World Expo, the largest event production companies in the United States. With over twenty years of experience, IDG World Expo has handled large-scale. events and gatherings such as Anime Expo, E3, Digital Entertainment World, MacWorld, and many more.
