Wonder Girls’ Sunye has confirmed that she will be getting married in January.
JYP Entertainment also confirmed the news with a statement, “Sunye will be getting married next year on January 26th. Sunye debuted under Wonder Girls in 2007 and has been the group’s leader for the past 6 years. She recently let the members and the company know about her intentions, and that this decision was made after a lot of thoughts. The company has decided to respect her decisions.”
Sunye’s boyfriend is a non k-pop celebrity, he is known to be a devout Christian. Sunye met her boyfriend during a charity mission to Haiti.
It is reported that she will continue to lead Wonder Girls but will also be focussing on family life and her marriage.
The wedding is due to take place on January 26.
