Weekly Feature (^o^)/

Heeeeeeeeeeeeey Guys. This is the first edition of the Weekly Corner. I put the lime light on Drama’s, Live Stage Performances, Music Videos, Reality Shows And Song/Dance Covers And Parodies That I think deserve more viewer and aren’t done justice (hopefully I’m doing a alright job)

Sooooooooooo if you have any suggestions please let me know   Whittz  (。◕‿‿◕。) <3

Lee Kyu Won (Park Sin Hye) is a tough and outgoing girl who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Whilst Lee Shin ( Jeong Yong Hwa) is a cold-hearted guy, known for his looks among the students and is majoring in modern music at the same University, who is also the main vocalist and guitarist of the band The Stupid. As the two become closer they help each other through the troubles that they come across and soon find that love develops between them.

I absolutely loved this drama, though lots of people complained about it, said it was boring, wasn’t up to their expectation and it was confusing. I thought it was excellent. I loved the music, I loved the characters, I loved the story line I LOVED EVERYTHING!!!!! Though I admit that I was really confused with the first few episodes because I was introduced to sooooooooooo many characters and all sorts of things were happening when it was only the first few episodes, it took me a while to understand but it was worth it in the end. I loved it because it was something new, even though it was a kinda common storyline, I have never seen a drama that combines Modern Music with Traditional Music and that intrigued me. I was somewhat disappointed with the storyline because it was so common, the guy/girl likes someone, they don’t like them back. the friend ends up liking them but hides their feelings, the guy/girl ends up losing hope in their one-sided love and suddenly realises that the friend has been with them throughout their troubles and realises that they love te friend ETC. I WANT SOMETHING ORIGINAL, just because you slightly alter the storyline, it doesn’t make it original. But I think you should watch it cause you never know if you like something unless you go through it yourself, you never know, you might end up liking it.

Music Video

Sunny Hill – Pray

Concept  4/5

I absolutely love it, it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I love it because it’s not like a usual Kpop MV, no dancing, no revealing of the flesh (Though we all love it) I love it because of the creepy ambiance. I love it because it’s so unique and I don’t think that I’ll be able to find a Music Video like this for a very long while. I found the MV and Song really refreshing because it was so original, it’s not everyday that a dark and dreary MV is made, the MV and Preview gave me chills.

Choreography 0/5

This song doesn’t have a choreography so unfortunately it’s getting a 0/5 :(

Song/Message 5/5

Don’t know if it was just me but i saw a moral to the MV, that no matter how beautiful or hideous a person is evil can be hidden in anyone and that you shouldn’t judge someone by the way they look since the so-called monster was such a good person whilst the beautiful woman he was bewitched by was actually so evil.

Overall Mark = 9/15

Reality Shows We Got Married – Adam’s Couple ,  Jo Kwon (2AM) Ga In (Brown Eyed Girls)

I absolutely LOVE this couple!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone keeps on going about the Khuntoria Couple (Nichkun (2PM) And Victoria f(x) ) but I think that the Adams Couple was the best couple in WGM. The were so entertaining, I couldn’t help but laugh at everything they did. They made things we have to do in our everyday life seem fun and I ended up sometimes looking forward to doing stuff like grocery shopping because of it.

I loved it even more cause it seemed like Jo Kwon and Ga In’s personality’s clashed because he was the outgoing bubbly person whilst she was the person who was in control but could also be incredibly shy. I definitely suggest you watch the Adams Couple once you’ll never find another couple as entertaining as them.

Dance/Song Covers And Parodies

2AM – Confessions Of A Friend

2Am Confessions Of A Friend was covered by a guy called EricSinger on YouTube. I only have one word for this cover, AMAZING. 2AM Confessions Of A Friend is one of my all time favourite songs and Eric sang it beautifully, he sang it with so much emotion and gave the song justice before I watched it I though it was like the rest of the covers devoid of emotion and but I was proved wrong, I was left speechless by his singing skills, I have no idea why this guy hasn’t been signed by a recording company yet. I advise that you listen to this song and not only this cover but ALL THE SONGS ON HIS CHANNEL.

Live Performances

Super Junior – Heechul’s Final Stage

Though this performance happened such a long time ago, to this day it still remains as one of my favourite live performances

This performance literally brought me to tears as Super Junior all worked so hard as it was Heechul’s final stage. I don’t know why it brought me to tears, maybe it was their seriousness, or the sadness I could see in their eyes or how they danced so gracefully but something seemed different, I couldn’t find words to describe the difference in way they danced the choreography. My eyes began to water at the end when Heechul gave his speech. It really hit me then, that he was really leaving. I cried like a manic –  and I’m sure that I looked like an idiot to the people who aren’t Kpop lovers – when Leeteuk and Kyuhyun started to cry and Super Junior had a group hug, I just sat in front of my computer crying my heart out for a while.
