American singer and actress Whitney Houston has died in Los Angeles at the age of 48. The singer is a global sensation with hits like “I will always love you“. The singer was staying at Beverly Hilton Hotel to attend a pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles. The police received an emergency call from hotel security at 15.43 local time (23:43 GMT). When they arrived at the hotel the paramedics, who were at the hotel for the party, were resuscitating her but it was unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at 15:55 local time.
