JYJ’s Junsu is releasing a solo album

According to C-JeS Entertainment,  JYJ’s Kim Junsu is reported to be releasing his first full length solo album next month.

A rep from the company said “Kim will make his comeback to the local music scene as a solo artist with his album which will drop sometime in May and then embark on his very own Asia tour the same month,”

Junsu took part in creating the track list himself which will include music from different genre’s such as ballads, dance tunes and R&B. He will promote his new album with a tour that will begin in Seoul sometime near the end of  May and then he will move on to Thailand, Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia and Shanghai till July.

We are really looking forward to MV for this album because Jeri Slaughter (the best choreographer in the U.S who has worked for JYJ’s World Widealbum) will participate in the music video!

This new album has came as a bit of a delightful surprise due to Junsu currently being busy playing ‘death’ in his latest musical ‘Elizabeth’. He is also the first member of JYJ to release a solo album.

There was quite a bit of excitement about this on twitter and one JYJ fan said ” I am really looking forward to hearing what Junsu has in store for us, my expectations are rather high as he will be the first member of JYJ to release a solo album.”

Are you excited?
