2021 rookie groups have been coming out hot with stellar debut releases and S2 Entertainment’s HOT ISSUE is no exception.
HOT ISSUE (which stands for “Honest,” “Outstanding,” and “Terrific”) debuted on April 28 and consists of seven members – Mayna, Nahyun, Hyeongshin, Dana, Yewon, Yebin, and Dain. Their debut mini album ISSUE MAKER is supported by the lead song, “GRATATA,” an up-tempo, intense banger that embodies their strong aspirations to capture new fans’ hearts with their charismatic debut. In the “GRATATA” music video, the girls take on a girl crush concept, oozing pure self-confidence and fierceness in their powerful choreography. Using an onomatopoeia for the sound of gunfire and bold lyrics such as “I’ll make you dream of me” and “You can’t run away nowhere to run, I’m a sniper,” the girls made their intentions loud and clear in this fierce debut track. It will even leave you wondering, “Are they really rookies?”
