From 1st to 7th March, a poll for “Most likely idol to lead the variety/entertainment department” was carried out by a music website called “Monkey 3”. Daesung was crowned the first winner for this poll with 59 votes (28%) of a total 212 votes.
In the past, Daesung has shown his fun and entertaining side in ‘Family Outing’, a popular Korean variety show. The pairing of him with Yoo Jae Suk, Korean’s national favourite MC, was known as “dumb and dumber brothers” and received much love from the audience. Despite having a difficult year in 2011, Daesung has picked himself up and ready to start afresh in 2012. He is going to make a comeback with his members with their mini album ‘Alive’ in Inkigayo on 11th.
2nd winner of the poll is 2am’s Jokwon (19%), closely followed by Lee Joon of MBLAQ, who ranks 3rd (17%) in the poll.
