Big Bang was received by over 1,200 screaming fans upon their arrival at the Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan.
Big Bang landed in Taiwan for the first time on April 9 to an airport full of fans and local media.
On April 10 the group moved onto the ‘Taipei 101‘ to hold their official press conference, which saw various media outlets like CTV, CTS, FTV, TTV, and more.
Big Bang expressed their excitement to be in Taiwan, “We never imagined there to be so many fans in our first visit to Taiwan. It was really surprising. We’ll be going on a world tour soon, so we hope that we’ll be able to perform in Taiwan as well.”
At the same time Big Bang was awarded platinum and double platinum awards from the CEO of Warner Music for their ‘4.5 Special Edition‘ and ‘Alive‘ albums.
