TWICE kicked off 2023 strong with the pre-release of “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE” in January, which debuted at No. 84 on the Billboard “Hot 100” and earned the group high-placements on Billboard’s “Digital Song Sales” chart (No. 3) and both Spotify’s US Chart (No. 39) and Global Chart (No. 60). Earlier this month, the group was honored at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards, where they received the “Breakthrough Award,” and closed the ceremony with their first-ever performance of “MOONLIGHT SUNRISE.” While in Los Angeles, the group also hosted a massively successful pop-up experience in support of READY TO BE’s release.

TWICE will embark on their READY TO BE world tour next month. The 14-city tour will kick off on April 15 with shows in South Korea, Australia, and Japan before heading to North America. The North American tour run consists of nine shows  —with more shows forthcoming — beginning at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on June 10.

In 2022, TWICE was the most-streamed female K-Pop group on Spotify (U.S.), and they are also the longest-charting female K-Pop act on Spotify’s “U.S. Daily Top Artist” chart. Last year alone, they accumulated nearly 300 million streams (with cumulative streams of over 5.5 billion, to date). They also completed their 4TH WORLD TOUR Ⅲ where they played sold-out arenas across the U.S., as well as two encore performances at Los Angeles’ Banc of California Stadium. These shows made TWICE the first female K-Pop group to sell out two North American arena tours and the first female K-Pop group to play a North American stadium, respectively.
