On March 12, FNC Entertainment’s P1Harmony released a choreography dance video to a medley of songs by American artist, Billie Eilish.
In the video, Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul, and Jongseob adopt eerie personas as they deliver a captivating performance to Billie Eilish’s songs “bury a friend,” “Therefore I Am,” and “you should see me in a crown.” The highlight of the medley was when the members created a human piano as the medley transitioned to “you should see me in a crown.” A representative working with P1Harmony and FNC Entertainment confirmed with Kpopconcerts.com that the members contributed to medley’s choreography, showcasing the group’s versatility and marking them as one of the most promising new acts in K-Pop.
The video’s unannounced release caught P1Harmony fans completely off guard. Fans were in awe by the emotions the group poured into the performance, as well as the members’ starking new hair colors that were revealed towards the end of the video, sparking speculations of an upcoming comeback announcement.
The video is the second installment in P1Harmony’s “P1USTYLE” cover series. The series is designed to showcase the group’s innate talents by reinterpreting popular songs and adopting P1Harmony’s own unique style and flair to the performances. In the first installment, the group released a cover of Conan Gray’s “Maniac,” which reached one million views just ten days after its release. The Billie Eilish medley video is expected to break this record and reach one million views in less than 48 hours after its release.
