After 14 months since their last comeback, cignature made their long-awaited return with the release of their third EP, My Little Aurora.
My Little Aurora features four new songs including the feel-good title track, “Aurora.” Utilizing a combination of buoyant synths, quirky lyrics, an oh-so-addictive chorus, and equally infectious choreography, the bubblegum-pop track invites listeners to tag along on a journey to find the “aurora” of their dreams. The sentiment is conveyed through the lyrics, “I can’t believe it, thank you for coming to me / I shout so that my earnest heart can be heard / even if it’s a dream, it’s fine / Oh oh this perfect moment / Aurora!”
In the accompanying music video, Chaesol, Jeewon, Seline, Chloe, Belle, Semi, and Dohee sit idly at home, seemingly longing for something more. A mysterious portal suddenly appears and entices the girls to step through, transporting them into a new world illuminated by shimmering, pastel hues of an aurora. Whether it was real or a figment of their imagination, the girls danced, sang, and basked in the moment.
The septet’s comeback was long overdue and their fans, called SIGNFANs, eagerly welcomed them with open arms. So much so that in less than 24 hours, cignature accumulated 4 million views on their “Aurora” music video and nearly 100,000 subscribers on their official Youtube channel.
