Just a week after the release of their new Japanese single “Film Out,” BTS announced their upcoming event, BANG BANG CON 21.
On April 11 at midnight (KST), the event was announced on BTS’ official Twitter account through a digitized graphic with the date slated for April 17 at 3PM (KST). The following day unveiled a new event graphic with the full broadcast lineup.
The festivities will kick off with BTS Live Trilogy Ep. I: BTS Begins (Memories of 2015) at 3PM (KST) followed by BTS 5th Muster “Magic Shop” in Busan at 5:40PM (KST). The broadcast will close with BTS World Tour ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ in San Paulo at 7:40PM (KST).
The best part? Fans can enjoy nonstop BTS concerts for free on the BANGTANTV Youtube channel! ARMY will be able to relive some of BTS’ most iconic live performances from the comfort of their own homes.
BANG BANG CON 2021 is the septet’s third online concert special since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The flagship broadcast began last April and accumulated over 50 million viewers over the two-day streaming event. The positive reception led to the second installment, BANG BANG CON: The Live, which featured live performances from the group in conjunction with their seven-year anniversary. Bang Bang Con: The Live recorded the largest audience for a paid virtual event with over 756,000 viewers across 107 countries.
In addition to the upcoming event, BTS is scheduled to release their Japanese album, BTS, The Best on June 16.
