Step by step, 8TURN are making their mark in the K-Pop scene, bringing fresh energy and undeniable potential to the stage. The eight-member group—MYUNG HO, JAE YUN, MIN HO, YOON SUNG, HAE MIN, KYUNG MIN, YUN GYU, and SEUNG HEON—first introduced themselves to the world on January 30, 2023, with “TIC TAC” from their debut EP, 8TURNRISE, under MNH Entertainment. That year, they had the opportunity to perform at KCON LA and KCON JAPAN, bringing their sharp choreography and youthful energy to international audiences.
By 2024, 8TURN took things to the next level, proving themselves as powerhouse performers on Mnet’s Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace. Their explosive stages and artistic growth wowed audiences, further solidifying their reputation as one of K-Pop’s most exciting rising groups.

Now, in 2025, they’re keeping that momentum going with their dynamic new comeback and their first-ever world tour. On March 4, 2025, the group released their first single album, LEGGO, which highlights the octet’s versatility – balancing the bold, high-energy swagger of their title track, “LEGGO,” with the sentimental, melodic charm of the B-side, “I Want You Now.”
With funk-driven brass sounds and high-energy rap verses, the title track “LEGGO” is a dynamic fusion of old-school hip-hop beats and MZ-generation swagger. The song delivers a powerful message: break free from the mundane, step into your main character’s energy, and live life to the fullest. The opening lines set the tone, urging listeners to “drop all your worries” and embrace life, reinforced by anthemic lyrics like:
“Get up, stand up, rise up / LEGGO wild”
“Just take the leap / Show a ‘V’ and say ‘Cheeze.’”
A youthful anthem of fearlessness, “LEGGO” encourages listeners to go all in and take control of their own narrative. The accompanying music video amplifies this rebellious spirit, featuring 8TURN members running and dancing on rooftops, jumping over subway gates, and turning the city into their stage—a perfect visual representation of their bold, carefree attitude.
In contrast, “I Want You Now” unveils a softer, more heartfelt side of 8TURN. With dreamy guitar riffs and emotionally driven lyrics, the song offers a romantic, nostalgic balance to the album’s high-energy title track.

The release of LEGGO sets the stage for 8TURN’s next major milestone — 2025 8TURN 1st World Tour [8TURNRISE]. The highly anticipated tour kicks off April 9 at Town Hall in New York and will take them to 12 cities across the U.S., including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, and Phoenix, before wrapping up in California with two final shows—May 2 at The Orpheum in Los Angeles and May 5 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
With new music, an explosive tour, and an ever-growing global fanbase, 8TURN is stepping into their biggest year yet. Ahead of LEGGO’s release, the Kpopconcerts.com team caught up with 8TURN to discuss their upcoming world tour, connections with their fans (TURNING), and more.

KPC: Congratulations on your 2025 8TURN 1st World Tour [8TURNRISE]! How did you all feel when you heard you were going on your first U.S. tour?
MIN HO: HAPPY~!
MYUNG HO: VERY HAPPY!
JAE YUN: We were very happy! In fact, it had been postponed once before, so I was extremely happy to finally be able to do it. I grew a lot during the period it was delayed. So, I thought it would be even more fulfilling. I felt like we would be able to have a meaningful and exciting tour, so I’m really looking forward to it.
KPC: You were in the United States back in 2023 for KCON LA. Now, you will be performing in 12 cities across the country. What are you most excited to experience both on and off-stage?
YOON SUNG: First of all, we really put together a rich setlist, and even if it would be tiring for us, we thought the audience would love it, so we tried to create some amazing moments.
YUN GYU: We have worked hard to show you a different side of 8TURN.
YOON SUNG: So you will be able to see something you haven’t seen before!
MIN HO: My cover stage… ~?
ALL: OOOOH~!
KPC: What are you most looking forward to?
YUN GYU: I’m most looking forward to TURNING singing along to our songs. When we attended KCON LA before, I was really impressed by how TURNING joined in on SEUNG HEON’s “How you doin” part in “TIC-TAC” It was really impressive and made me even more excited to hear them sing along to LEGGO as well.
MYUNG HO: I wonder if they’ve memorized all the “LEGGO” parts already~

KPC: As you prepared for this major milestone, what goals did you set for yourselves as a group and individually?
YOON SUNG: To convert more people into TURNING!
YUN GYU: To complete the tour with no issues!
JAE YUN: First and foremost, staying healthy is the most important thing since it’s our first tour. Of course, we want to meet many TURNING fans. And I hope the members can complete the tour smoothly, without any issues.
MIN HO: Growing together is important. I believe that touring offers many opportunities for personal growth, so my goal is to continue to grow from this experience.
MYUNG HO: I think I will probably get sick at least once during this tour, so my goal is to overcome sickness.
KPC: Your performances require a lot of energy and stamina. How do you maintain that intensity for every show?
HAE MIN: I don’t think we do anything in particular to prepare ourselves to maintain that energy. When we just get on stage and see the faces of TURNING, it’s like the passion of the audience ignites our energy. Those moments create our energy.
MIN HO: Synergy.
HAE MIN: Synergy, that’s right.
MYUNG HO: Before we go on stage, all of us say “hwaiting” to lift our spirits. It’s the moment when we can get our head in the game, focus, and raise our energy levels.
YOON SUNG: I couldn’t do this alone, but since the members are here, we say “hwaiting” to encourage each other and remind each other to show the audience a good performance. So that might be where our energy comes from.
YUN GYU: Right! Seeing TURNING gives us strength, and being with the members also gives us a lot of strength.
JAE YUN: The synergy between the members and TURNING is perfect.
KPC: Late last year, you released the fan song “You Are My Reason,” a song written by the members that highlights the bond you all share with TURNING. Can you share a specific moment when you felt this connection with them? If the song is performed on tour, how do you think the energy of that moment could shape the live experience for both you and your fans?
SEUNG HEON: At the last fan-con, we sang the song “You Are My Reason” for the first time in front of TURNING. At the concert, I really felt like I was communicating with TURNING, sharing an emotional connection, and feeling the synergy. It felt like a special moment. On this tour, I definitely want to sing “You Are My Reason” and connect with the U.S. TURNING fans to create moments of deep connection.
KPC: How do you all celebrate small wins in your everyday life and large group achievements?
YOON SUNG: We celebrate small achievements by enjoying something delicious!
MIN HO: Bye rewarding ourselves with something delicious.
YOON SUNG: It’s like I’m telling myself, “You worked hard today. Let’s eat something delicious.”
MIN HO: By writing it down in a notebook, bragging to TURNING, and celebrating together.
YUN GYU: Eat something that I’ve listed in my notebook as something that I’ve been wanting to eat (laughs).

KPC: What is your earliest memory of falling in love with music or the turning point that made you want to pursue music as a career?
KYUNG MIN: In my second year of high school, I once had a slump with music. I wanted to quit, and I didn’t do it for a while. But I was in a situation where I had to keep interacting with music in one way or another. Because of this, I ended up seeing a lot of performances. So I started thinking, “I can’t quit this. So I thought I just had to keep doing music.
MIN HO: I have a moment as well. I listened to Baekhyun sunbaenim’s songs and really felt like I could relate to them. “I want to become a singer like this,” is what I thought to myself. I want to make music that will resonate with others, too.
YOON SUNG: When I was younger, I watched a lot of concert videos of my seniors on YouTube. I’ve loved K-pop since I was really young. Even though I was not performing on stage at that concert, I felt a sense of joy, and I think I naturally dreamed of wanting to perform on stage like that.
KPC: Is there a singer who you look up to when it comes to their live performances?
MYUNG HO: These days, I’m really impressed by senior Jo Seung Yeon, also known as WOODZ. He is so cool. His stage presence is so great, and he is a sunbae that I really look up to.
HAE MIN: I have one as well. I recently saw a clip from NCT sunbaenim’s concert on Youtube and even though NCT currently has a small number of members due to some circumstances, they completely filled that huge stage. I thought to myself that I wanted to be cool like them.
YOON SUNG: They have explosive energy and talent that backs up that level of energy. (in English) Respect.

KPC: What are your goals for the future, both individually and as a group?
MYUNG HO: 8TURN at MAMA this year. Let’s GO!! (everyone cheers)
JAE YUN: I really like that!
YOON SUNG: As a group, this year’s goal is to gradually scale up our performance venues. I’m already happy doing so many performances with many TURNINGs, but I wonder what it would be like to meet even more TURNINGs.
YUN GYU: I hope we can all be together for a long time and be loved together.
KYUNG MIN: I wish there were many songs that we would hear and think, “Wow, we did a great job. This is a great song.”
JAE YUN: I think it’s really important to produce work that we can be proud of.
