Girl group PIXY took to the stage at the Oriental Theater in Denver, CO on April 18 for one of their many stops on their KARMA IS A B 2023 USA TOUR. This was sparked after they released their newest EP, Chosen Karma, on March 10, 2023. The group debuted on February 24, 2021, under Allart Entertainment and Happy Tribe Entertainment with their single “Wings.” Although two founding members, Ella and Satbyeol, left the group in 2022 due to health concerns, Dia, Sua, Lola, Dajeong, and new member Rinji were excited to meet their U.S. WINXYs.

Excited fans (called WINXY) filled the small and intimate venue, dressed head to toe in pixy-core paraphernalia. All of the sudden, lights were out and the show began. The theater was completely dark except for the single light shown on an ominous stuffed rabbit doll that hung over the stage. It somberly floated around and the crowd was in awe with excitement. Then, the lights flashed on and the crowd roared as one by one the members of PIXY came to the stage.

Dia, Sua, Lola, Rinji, and Dajeong each came out of the shadows and waved to their WINXYs, who in return cheered and waved their light sticks in anticipation and excitement. With suspense high and built-up energy ready to be unleashed, PIXY broke into their choreography for their song “Villain from their 2022 Reborn EP.

PIXY followed with another fan favorite, “Addicted,” from their 2021 EP Fairyforest: Temptation as bright pink lights filled the stage around them and the members were completely synchronized in their choreography. Their high energy fed the crowd and they were hyped up and ready to match the performers. They also toned down the crowd with some of their slower-paced songs like Chosen Karma’s “Whisper,” which gave the members time to interact with the crowd. They crouched at the edge of the stage, waved, and sent a plethora of finger-hearts to WINXYs.

Halfway through the show, PIXY stopped to take a moment and talk to the crowd. They did a coin toss to see which member was going to be performing a special solo for Denver WINXYs. After much anticipation, Dajeong was chosen. Dajeong performed a short cover of Beyoncé’s “Love On Top” as she danced around the stage while the crowd sang along with her to the iconic lyrics.

After Dajeong’s incredible solo, Sua came running onto the stage with a Colorado state flag in hand followed by the other members. The members took a photo holding the flag with WINXYs in the background and posted it on their social media. Following this, PIXY taught WINXYs some of their choreography for their newest song “Karma,” which is a remix of their other songs also from Chosen Karma: Hide & Seek” and “Flip a Coin.” The group followed this fun and wholesome interaction by then performing “Karma” while having the crowd follow along.

After several more sets, PIXY waved their Denver WINXYs goodbye as members began to walk off stage one by one. Suddenly, music started playing again and the crowd cheered louder than they had ever done all night as PIXY ran back out with light sticks of their own to perform an encore. The members danced around the stage and sent hearts to the crowd. Once this was over they gave their final farewell and the show came to an end.
