KATSEYE (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae) delivered an unforgettable performance in Phoenix for the first time on December 3 as the Beautiful Chaos tour made its way to westward cities. They brought the high-gloss pop machine that dwells between thrilling dance patterns and very catchy hooks to the Arizona Financial Theatre. The six-piece group served the kind of performance that underlines why they have become one of the most talked-about emerging acts on the North American circuit. Their bold visuals, relentless dance choreographies, and a steady string of crowd-pleasing discography were all present that night.

As soon as the house lights dipped, Eyekons across the theatre lit up their glow sticks at once. KATSEYE’s stage design doubled as a mood machine: two movable stairs on each side and an LED panel that served as their backdrop. The screen showed not just their song visuals but also snippets of video documentation of their journey as the newest girl group to watch. The concert was divided into three acts, each of which was just as beautiful as it was chaotic.

Before KATSEYE hit the stage, a cinematic clip of their journey, road to success, and elements of their viral hit “Gnarly” played onscreen. When the clip was over, KATSEYE’s six members finally opened with “Debut,” which is a very symbolic song for their career. It was their hit single that was released July 28 last year, and their stardom propelled from there. They moved with precision that suggested hours of rehearsal; each formation snapped into place as they included dance breaks from their MAMA 2024performance, cleverly integrated into the first track.

After the fifth song, KATSEYE introduced themselves to Eyekons and sincerely expressed their excitement for their Phoenix fans to witness their first-ever show in the Valley. “Make sure to sing every song with us tonight. I need to hear you all screaming, jumping,” Lara told fans. Daniela added how she’s extremely grateful for their Arizona fans supporting the group’s dynamics and their diverse cultures. “This place is beautiful, you guys are beautiful. I see that Venezuelan flag over there! I love you, thank you,” she exclaimed.

They ended the first act with the globally in-demand song “Gabriela.” The performance included a surprise treat: an extended two-minute dance break that played cleverly with their Latin American–inspired outfits and telenovela-style flair. They wore Mexican Folkloric skirts or “Falda” which heavily influenced their dance break as they swung them around to add spice to the show. The act ended with a bang as red confetti fell from the ceiling, signifying the start of the next act with fresh new outfits, new tight formations, but the same explosive energy.

Before the next act of the Beautiful Chaos show began, the fans witnessed never-before-seen clips of how the group was formed. They played interviews of each of the girls at the dawn of their popularity, and how they got into singing and dancing as kids. The video also featured homemade videos of their early childhoods, showing that at very young ages, they were really destined to go big and conquer the world.

KATSEYE opened the next act with three tracks from Dream Academy, the Geffen Records x HYBE reality competition show that selected the six members as part of its mission to form the next global girl group. When the opening sequence hit the first chorus of “Girls Don’t Like,” the room answered in unified screams that grew with “Dirty Water” followed by “All The Same.”Performing those songs was a treat for their diehard fans. The group rocked all-blue and fuchsia outfits and executed dance breaks that were electric, polished, and bursting with personality. For a group that builds much of its appeal on synchronized visual impact, the payoff was immediate, especially since these songs were composed before they even started calling themselves KATSEYE.

To close the second act, KATSEYE gave their fans an extended version of the hit song “Gnarly” that featured choreography that also served as a statement. It was packed with tight formations, abrupt shifts in tempo, and a kinetic energy that kept the entire theatre leaning in. This song in particular amassed more fan chants than before. For a young group still building their catalog, the girls demonstrated that their strength lies in their bold and expressive choreographies and keen sense of how to command space. The last note triggered another confetti drop, this time in green, nearing the end of the show.

KATSEYE’s encore, which also doubles as the third act of the show, featured two of their most iconic, fan-favorite tracks to date, “Touch” and “My Way,” a fitting finale for the night. Between songs, they stood in front of fans to thank them for their energy and presence. The girls also extended their heartfelt gratitude to their backup dancers for their role in the tour’s success. Manon delivered a heartfelt message to their young fans present in the theater to never stop believing in themselves if they wish to follow in the group’s footsteps. “Any of you girlies can do it, too. You just gotta work hard and be passionate and never take no for an answer,” she advised.

Lyrically and conceptually, KATSEYE asked their fans to witness the Beautiful Chaos show with contradiction: softness paired with aggression and vulnerability dressed in hyper-styling. Despite their playful persona and charming personalities, the group also revealed a fiercer edge— performances fueled with grit and choreography that was aggressive yet graceful. If the Phoenix show taught us anything, it’s that KATSEYE’s future will be shaped by how quickly they turn chaotic bursts of creativity into a steadier, more patient craft. This was just a glimpse of what the future holds for their career. Sooner or later, they won’t just be filling theaters. At this pace, they’ll be selling out stadiums.

The Beautiful Chaos US tour ends in Los Angeles on December 13 at the Hollywood Palladium before they head to Mexico City for their last leg on December 16 at the Teatro Metrópolitan. You can also catch the group at Coachella 2025 on both Fridays, April 10 and 17, 2026.
