[RECAP] ONE PACT Illuminates Chicago During Their [OUTSHINE] World Tour

On August 26, boy group ONE PACT touched down at Joe’s Live in Rosemont, IL, for the fifth North American stop of their 2026 WORLD TOUR: [OUTSHINE]. Fresh off a European tour leg and standout appearances at KCON LA, the five-member group is going full force to make sure they’re remembered. Fans, known as &Heart (pronounced “and heart”), were eager to welcome the group to the Windy City for the first time.

Fans milled about the Parkway Bank Entertainment District while waiting for the show to begin, exchanging freebies and taking photos with friends in front of the venue’s marquee. When they were finally let into the building, the buzz of anticipation only grew as the clock ticked closer to 7 PM. Chants of the group’s name echoed through the concert hall as &Heart prepared to witness ONE PACT’s Chicago debut.

Without further ado, the lights dimmed, and fans cheered their hearts out as a VCR played. The video explained how excited ONE PACT was for the [OUTSHINE] tour, followed their journey in preparing for it, and hyped the crowd up for what was to come. The end of the VCR transitioned seamlessly into the first song, “Pull Up,” with members Jongwoo, Seongmin, Jay Chang, TAG, and Yedam running onto the stage bathed in pink and purple lights. The flirtatious pop-R&B track had fangirls in the crowd squealing as the group serenaded them while sporting boyish outfits consisting of graphic T-shirts and jeans, adding to their approachable appeal.

ONE PACT kept the energy up, diving straight into “blind,” a cutesy track that showcased the group’s synchronicity and versatile expressions. The retro-funk fan favorite “100!,” which was featured in an episode of the popular Netflix series XO, Kitty, followed with a round of rambunctious cheers from &Heart. The romantic lyrics had the members flirting with the audience, with Jongwoo cheekily lifting his shirt to reveal a sliver of his abs and Yedam winking teasingly as he sang his lines. Jay closed off the song with a powerful display of his vocal prowess as he sang the refrain.

The momentum didn’t end there as the members went right into the next song, “B2U.” The upbeat track had less strict choreography, allowing the group to bounce around on stage and interact closely with &Heart. Concertgoers jumped along as ONE PACT hyped up the crowd on each side of the stage.

Finally, the group took some time to catch their breath, introduce themselves, and address the crowd.

“What you saw so far is just the tip of the iceberg,” Jay teased. “If you’re hot or you’re tired– get ready to be more hot and tired!”

They continued with “YES, NO, MAYBE,” showcasing Jongwoo and TAG’s smooth rap skills. “Whts yo name,” a charming track off their latest single album TUNED IN, followed. A Y2K-inspired background video played behind them, filled with silver CDs, pixelated chat messages, and a bejeweled old phone, perfectly accompanying the performance. Seongmin stood out with his fluid movements and enticing displays of affection for &Heart.

ONE PACT chilled out with “wait!”, utilizing the song to mingle with each other and the crowd. Despite the slower beat, &Heart’s energy didn’t diminish as they recited the tune’s accompanying fanchant perfectly. Fan favorite “DESERVED” came next and had fans screaming along with the lyrics and dancing along to its choreography.

To the members’ delight, fans began barking at the group as they took a moment to drink some water and take a breather. A stool and a standing mic were set up on the stage while Yedam was handed an acoustic guitar.

“This is my ‘little Yedam’,” the youngest member joked, to which Jay cringed, asking him to never repeat the phrase ever again.

As a treat for &Heart, the members began singing a short, stripped-down cover of “Creep” by Radiohead before diving into their romantic tune, “Never Stop.” The mellow love song allowed all members to let their sweet vocals shine. Against the backdrop of a starry night sky, ONE PACT serenaded fans with a promise of forever.

The unit track “Vampire” allowed the audience to get a closer glimpse at Jongwoo, Seongmin, and Yedam’s chemistry as a trio as they danced in perfect unison under alluring red lights.

Jay and TAG returned to the stage to perform a cover of “Moves Like Jagger,” originally by Maroon 5. Before they crooned out the funky tune, Jay shared a story of his previous Chicago visits to connect with the crowd, reminiscing about attending the Lollapalooza festival as a child with his family.

The contemporary R&B track “lucky” exhibited the members’ melodic rap abilities and especially highlighted Yedem’s silky falsetto. Next was “Illusion,” an addictive pop-hip-hop track that saw Jay’s powerhouse vocals come out in full force during the song’s bridge. “RUSH IN 2 U,” another track from their debut mini-album Moment, had fans passionately singing along to every lyric.

After coming together in the middle of the stage one last time in a moment of team unity, the members made their way backstage as the lights dimmed low. A VCR began playing, displaying various memories from their career such as their first European and North American tour, fan events, festival appearances, and photos of the group together at famous landmarks across the world.

At the end of the touching video, ONE PACT returned to the stage to perform their latest release, “U so hot.” The bubbly track emphasized the group’s vocal versatility as each of them sang with clear falsettos that left &Heart swooning. The dark track “SANE” came next and featured choreography that showed off the members’ precise dancing abilities.

DO YOU FXXKING LOVE ME TOO” gave the boys a chance to relax as they goofed around with each other on stage and prompted the audience to wave their hands in the air. Their final performance was an energetic remix of “DESERVED,” which had fans jumping and dancing to the dynamic beat. Members bounced around on stage, hyping up the crowd, and spraying water on fans, which &Heart willfully accepted with thunderous cheers. As the members said their farewells and took their final bows, concertgoers took one last opportunity to bark and hoot for the group.

The members left the stage once again but reappeared moments later for an encore, this time donning [OUTSHINE] tour shirts. Each member performed brief snippets of their solo songs, “PASSOUT,” “180928,” “Signal,” “someone else,” and “Keyring,” which appeared on their fourth mini album ONE FACT

Growing even more excited, Jongwoo began giving Yedam a piggyback ride and running around the stage, while TAG seemed to procure Yedam’s guitar out of thin air, wiggling his eyebrows at the crowd mischievously as if to ask, “What should I do with this?”

The wild energy turned Joe’s Live into a club and was the perfect way to end ONE PACT’s first Chicago show. From the front to the very back, &Heart all across the crowd were high on the vibe the members created. When it came time for the boys to say their real goodbyes, fans booed playfully but cheered for the amazing show ONE PACT put on.

“Thank you, Chicago! We’ll be back!” TAG promised.
