The co-ed K-Pop group, KARD, started off the North American leg of their 2025 USA TOUR ‘DRIFT’ on Wednesday, December 11, at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. This marks the start of a six-city North America tour with upcoming stops in Chicago, New York, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, and Dallas. The tour shares its name with KARD’s eighth mini-album, Drift, released on July 2, 2025, which symbolizes the group’s determination to move forward in their own direction despite challenges. Hidden KARDS, the official fandom name, were promised a setlist that spanned eight years, along with brand-new performances being shown in the U.S. for the first time.

Members BM, J.Seph, Somin, and Jiwoo stormed the stage with “Touch,” clad in acid-washed denim and chic brown-and-white outfits, immediately captivating the crowd with their signature partner choreography. Fans responded with deafening cheers and plenty of barking, a trademark of Hidden KARDs. KARD caused the energy to burn even higher with “ICKY” and received unceasing cheers as they regrouped to formally greet Hidden KARDs. BM greeted fans by exclaiming, “I’m back in my hometown, shiittttt!” The members expressed their appreciation for the turnout, despite it being a Wednesday night, and promised that tonight would be a party.

After dedicating the next songs for the “day ones,” KARD performed their 2017 pre-debut and debut tracks “Oh Na Na” and “Hola Hola.” BM acknowledged the long wait since their last visit and apologized with a grin. He also joked that the show was “rated for everyone” since his nieces were in attendance, so he toned down his usual bad-boy antics.
The mood shifted as stools were brought out for calmer tracks, “Top Down” and “Before We Go.” Jiwoo and J.Seph playfully mimicked the instrumental introduction of “Top Down” while Somin and Jiwoo showcased their sweeter sides with their delicate falsettos. Between songs, J.Seph charmed fans with his quirky English by suggesting, “Let’s go Englishseuuu!” The members expressed their love for performing in the U.S., praising the diversity of the crowd. BM gave a shout-out to his mom in the audience by crediting her as “the reason I’m so sexy. I got it from my momma!”
The tempo picked back up with “Ring the Alarm” and “Red Moon,” both delivered with explosive energy and ad-libs that had fans screaming. A humorous VCR segment followed, in which the members role-played as co-workers in a corporate office setting. They played a game consisting of four rounds to test who knew the other members the best. Jiwoo won and was ultimately crowned the new “team leader.”

BM returned to the stage by himself, donning stunner shades, for his solo song “Freak” featuring B.I. He ended the song with a jaw-dropping dance break and teasingly moved his pectoral muscles to the beat. He then invited fans to sing along to “Garage 92.” After BM’s solo stage, it was time for the unit performances. J.Seph joined BM back onstage and the two showcased their rapping skills with “Been That Boy.” The crowd was buzzing as the men exited and made way for Jiwoo and Somin to take over the stage with their powerful unit song “Enemy.”

All four members were back on stage and thanked the fans again for their dedication in coming out to their concert on a Wednesday night. Worried for fans, KARD asked the audience if they had work or school the next day—sadly, a majority of the crowd replied with a “yes.” KARD was thoroughly impressed by fans who have work the next day but were still attending the official after party late into the night.
In order to spend more time with Hidden KARDs, the group played a game of “This or That” where the members chose between hard-hitting options like “Would you rather sing only high notes or practice a dance a hundred times?” Highlights included BM and J.Seph attempting to sing the high notes of “Golden” from K-Pop Demon Hunters and the girls doing a silly sexy dance.
Pretending to have technical difficulties, the members suspiciously scurried off the stage before quickly returning in Santa capes and hats for a playful rendition of “Last Christmas,” tossing candy canes into the audience. J.Seph earned cheers for launching one all the way to the balcony. After sharing a sweet, lighthearted moment with fans, the group reflected on a tough year and expressed gratitude for being able to end 2025 together with Hidden KARDs.

Bringing it back to their signature flavor, KARD performed the sexy, spicy, and high-energy “Pivot” and “SPIN.” BM specifically shouted out their Latino/Latina fans, as the group often takes inspiration from Latin American music. J.Seph declared that it was “time for everyone’s make-up to be ruined” and invited everyone to get crazy for fan favorite tracks “GUNSHOT” and “Bomb Bomb.”
Unfortunately, it was time to say their ending ments to which Hidden KARDs hilariously shot back “No! Start over!” J.Seph admitted, “This feeling tonight is why I’m in KARD,” while Jiwoo urged fans to stay happy and healthy. Somin wanted to convey heartfelt words to the crowd, so she enlisted BM’s help in translating. He playfully repeated her words with a softer, girlier voice, providing laughter in a bittersweet moment. BM shared that he came to realize his biggest blessing was what he had in front of him this whole time, encouraging fans to focus on and appreciate what they have as well. The group expressed again how they were glad to start their world tour in L.A. and alluded to projects that will drop in 2026. With that, they performed the “last” two songs of the night, “CAKE” and “Dumb Litty.” The energy was through the roof as KARD and the whole theater jumped up and down together in excitement.

The members exited the stage, and a sentimental black and white VCR of KARD writing letters to Hidden KARD played. Shortly after, the crowd screamed for an encore before the members obliged, returning to the stage in matching tour merchandise t-shirts. Savoring every moment, the group interacted with fans throughout all the encore stages, which included the throwback songs “Don’t Recall” and “You In Me,” and then a second performance of “ICKY.”
From nostalgic old tracks to festive special stages and electric performances, KARD’s Los Angeles stop was a triumphant return to the U.S. and a promise that they will keep doing what they love, which is making music for Hidden KARDs.
