For their first-ever appearance in the U.S., newly debuted girl group Hearts2Hearts were out to capture audiences at the iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM Wango Tango Presented by Fiji Airways on May 10. Consisting of eight members – Jiwoo, Carmen, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on – Hearts2Hearts is SM Entertainment’s newest girl group on the K-Pop scene since the iconic aespa debuted back in 2020.
With their rhythmic, low-beat songs, Hearts2Hearts was an interesting addition to the Wango Tango lineup. Instead of opting for bombastic or bold tracks like other performers, Hearts2Hearts leaned into the softer, dreamy feel that defines their tone as a group, perfect for a chill beach vibe. They performed their standout debut song “The Chase” along with their B-side “Butterflies,” giving festival goers a nice break to relax with the change of pace. Much like the meaning of the lyrics in “The Chase,” the girls confidently showed their charm and excitement on the stage for their first-ever U.S. performance after debuting just three months ago.
