RAPBEAT 2024 will take place at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park over two days, on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. The festival has just revealed its spectacular third line-up announcement.
Hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park will headline the Day 1. Other performers scheduled that day include the timeless dance diva Uhm Jung-hwa, the four-member indie band DASUTT, the three-member hip hop group Homies, rapper FLEEKY BANG, POLODARED, known for his distinctive husky and rough high tone, emerging MZ rock star HANRORO, daughters of Korean hip-hop YOUNG POSSEE, and many more.
Jay Park, the Saturday headliner, has been awarded the ‘Netizens’ Choice – Male Artist of the Year’ at the Korean Music Awards in 2013 and 2015. He also received the ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best R&B & Soul Album’ awards in 2017, proving his appeal to both fans and critics. Jay Park’s performance is expected to elevate the Saturday show.
For Day 2, world-renowned artist NAS will headline the lineup in celebration of the 30th anniversary of his album, Illmatic. Previously announced Day 2 performers are rock band Cherry Filter, R&B musician Rad Museum, the unique hip-hop duo HYPNOSIS THERAPY, K-indie band LUCY, and more.
RAPBEAT will also debut the Legend Stage, featuring foundational artists of Korean popular music, such as fusion jazz pioneers The Light And The Salt and Korean hip-hop forefathers Garion.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, RAPBEAT, which began in 2014 with the RAPBEAT Show, is a multi-genre music festival showcasing a wide array of artists across different genres and generations. This year, RAPBEAT will offer shuttle buses on 10 routes in Seoul and the metropolitan area and four routes from major cities (Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, and Busan) for a convenient festival experience. Shuttle bus tickets are sold through KakaoT, with reservations and more information available on the KakaoT app or RAPBEAT’s official social media channels.
