VCHA – a first-of-its-kind global pop girl group from K-Pop powerhouse JYP Entertainment and Republic Records – released their second pre-debut single, “Ready for the World” today via JYP Entertainment/Republic Records.
VCHA is the first global girl group trained through the K-Pop system and was formed through the competition series A2K. A2K audiences received a taste of “Ready for the World” during the competition program, as a portion of the track was utilized as the show’s theme song. Now, as fully formed group, VCHA has released a full version of the track, which was originally written by JYP Entertainment founder J.Y Park. It serves as a full circle moment for the group, demonstrating that the VCHA members are ready to show themselves to the world.
Along with the full version of the beloved track, VCHA also released a sentimental video for “Ready for the World,” which also serves as an exciting announcement for fans. The video ends with the reveal of the group’s highly anticipated official debut date – January 26th, 2024 – on which they will release their official debut single.
The video itself features side-by-side videos of the members current performances and A2K performances, showcasing how far they have come since audiences first fell in love with them during A2K auditions. The video is nostalgic and impactful, and with both the editing and announcement at the end, drives home the message that VCHA is truly ready to take on the world.
