SM Entertainment’s Super Junior-M debuted on Billboard’s World Album chart at number 1, beating off Girls Generation’s “I Got A Boy” album to the top spot.
The title song, “Break Down” was released on January 7.
SM Entertainment cmmented on the news by tweeting, “It’s quite an unprecedented thing that an album made completely in Chinese would rise to the top of the Billboard charts.”
Super Junior-M will be holding fan meets across Asia to promote their new album, starting in Nanjing, China on January 19.
