The video for “Dancing Queen” sends SONEs down memory lane as the girls sport their old hairstyles and concepts from back in 2008!
“Dancing Queen” will be featured in SNSD’s upcoming 4th album, I Got A Boy, that’s set to drop on January 1st! “Dancing Queen,” a remake of Buffy’s hit single “Mercy,” was originally recorded and produced during SNSD’s “Gee” era but never made it onto the album.
I Got A Boy will consist of songs that highlight SNSD’s past, present, and future. At the end of the “Dancing Queen,” the video fast forwards to 2013 and teases fans with snippets of the girls’ more mature and fierce concept they’ll exhibit during their comeback next month.
Along with the video, SNSD released their first teaser photos starting with Hyoyeon, seen below with her multi-colored hair and edgy outfits.
