The hit drama series is back again with more action than ever! IRIS 2 is set three years after the events of the first season as tension continues to build between IRIS and the NSS.
Some of the original cast, such as Kim Seung Woo and Kim Min-jong, will reprise their roles in the sequel alongside the new leads – Jang Hyuk and Lee DaHee (both were the leads for another drama, “Chuno”.) Others set to appear in IRIS 2 include actors Im SooHyang and Kim Yeong-Cheol and K-POP idols, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, KARA’s Jiyoung, and B2ST’s Doojoon.
IRIS 2 is scheduled to finish production in Hungary, and later on in Cambodia and Akita, Japan. The finished series will air on February 13, 2013.
