On May 17, xikers ended their 2025 World Tour [Road to XY: Enter the Gate] in U.S. at The Novo in Los Angeles with lots of fanfare and excitement. Coming off the coattails of their performance at this year’s Wango Tango, LA Live was buzzing with anticipation that Saturday night as road𝓨s made their way up to the venue, lightsticks in hand and clear bags with their favorite xikers member’s photocards flashed proudly for everyone to see.

As road𝓨s flooded the venue, several passed by the merchandise booth for last-minute souvenirs of a soon-to-be memorable night, while others took selfies with their friends in front of the stage. No matter what they were doing, they were waiting for MINJAE, JUNMIN, SUMIN, JINSIK, HYUNWOO, JUNGHOON, SEEUN, YUJUN, HUNTER, and YECHAN to make their explosive appearance.

Before the show, the members peeked out of their dressing rooms to see the growing crowd, garnering screams and cheers from the upper balcony. Some road𝓨s began barking, a staple for U.S. K-Pop shows, as xikers waved back in gratitude.

The show began with a slick opening VCR and a countdown that ignited the hot, energetic crowd. xikers, sporting their team-branded hoodies, burst onto the stage, radiating a level of confidence that ensured the audience that they were in for a good treat.

Red lights and smoke enveloped them as they began the show with “Xikey.” The high-octane choreography complemented the fast-paced beat of the lightsticks moving in sync with the group. The energy was undeniable, and it carried on with “Red Sun” with a notable moment from SUMIN delivering his lines with a fire that wasn’t going to extinguish any time soon. “Oh My Gosh” generated the same kind of energy, and the cheers were so loud that the floor shook underneath the audience’s feet. The footwork for this song was incredible to see, just like seeing the members and road𝓨s yelling together, “Who are we?! Who are we?! xikers!”

After performing complex and deeply passionate choreographies back-to-back, xikers took a moment to breathe and introduce themselves to the crowd. The group also welcomed the return of JUNGHOON, who was on hiatus for nearly six months following a knee injury. JUNGHOON was visibly excited after road𝓨s screamed for him before he could introduce himself.

Back Off” featured a few props that elevated the dramatic theatrics of the song, with YECHAN swinging a metal bat to assert his dominance. School desks doubled as a stage, with members standing on them to deliver braggadocious raps, spotlighting all the rappers of the group. It was a definite highlight of the show, and the old school hip-hop sound put xikers in the zone of being young, determined, and hungry for success.

Continuing on that theme, xikers’ rap line, MINJAE, SUMIN, and YECHAN, threw it back to their trainee days with “Canvas,” a song they performed as KQ Fellas 2. It felt like seeing a group of friends performing a cypher live in an underground hip-hop club, with the members spitting bars without skipping a single beat. The trio fed off each other, giving pats on the back or embracing each other to support one another. For every “Canvas!” uttered, the crowd screamed it back tenfold as the floor moved to the beat of the song.

Another cinematic VCR enveloped the screen to show a clock ticking away before vanishing into some ominous words, “xikers, it’s time.” It felt terrifying as smoke plumed on the floor and the members came out to perform “Witch,” a darker concept from their preceding tracks. While the choreography was more fluid and slower, it was still crisp and clean, showing xikers’ consistency.

The group smoothly transitioned into “KOONG” with the iconic umbrella routine. The crowd went wild, chanting back, “KOONG! KOONG! KOONG!” to match the lyrics of the aggressive hip-hop track. Lastly, “Doorbell Ringing” wrapped up the spooky segment, with a notable harmonized high note from YUJUN and HYUNWOO. The performance ended strongly, leaving the audience breathless. It was incredibly cathartic and invigorating to watch.

After a short ment, the group continued their subunits with a cover of Justin Bieber’s “Holy” with SEEUN, HYUNWOO, and JUNGHOON. It was a sweet and slow departure from everything so far and showcased the group’s vocal range and emotional candor. Following that sentimental performance was a sensual one by YUJUN, JUMIN, and HUNTER. They covered “Ring-A-Ling” by Tkay Maidza, with HUNTER lifting up his shirt to reveal his abs underneath. The crowd went wild during this section, barking soon after the performance ended.

The next ment was very lighthearted and sweet as the members talked about each other’s subunit performances. Some even playfully covered one another’s songs, to everyone’s amusement. Afterwards, the group transitioned into a dance challenge segment with L.A. road𝓨s. A few days before the show, xikers ran a poll on X (formerly Twitter) to choose which song they would cover together. The winning song was “Xikey,” and xikers were elated to see how many road𝓨s in the audience knew their choreography.

Soon after, the group picked Yechan to introduce “Every Flavor Jelly,” but not before he teasingly attempted to rip his shirt off in the process. The fun track got xikers throwing colored jellies to road𝓨s, delivering hip thrusts that drove them crazy.

It was then back to the program with “You Hide We Seek” and “We Don’t Drop,” the latter displaying city motifs of a grimy concrete jungle and graffiti. The choreography was slick but also more laid-back than the previous songs. Even hours into the concert, the choreography was still clean and crisp, showing off xikers’ never-ending stamina.

The group transitioned beautifully into “Rockstar” and “Do or Die,” with the latter being as high-octane as the songs performed at the start of the show. Lastly, xikers performed “Tricky House,” their breakout song from their debut album. road𝓨s chanted “Shanty shanty, ya ya ya” back at their favorite group, and soon after, xikers went backstage to get ready for the encore.

Before the group actually came out, xikers surprised road𝓨s with a sing-a-long event, letting them sing their hits, “We Can’t Stop” and “Do or Die.” road𝓨s laughed and apologized profusely as they couldn’t keep up with the rap line’s lyrics, however, they redeemed themselves by being synchronized and loud during the choruses.

xikers returned to the stage with “Moonlight,” an unreleased track written by Minjae. The choreography was adorable as the group had towels that revealed a cute message, “xikers ❤️road𝓨s.” The sweetness continued with “Break A Leg.” While one would think xikers would use this time to relax and interact with the audience, the group continued on their complex and precise choreography until the very end. “Sunny Side” was a great way to wrap things up for the night, a hopeful and nostalgic track to look at the lighter side of life.

As it was their first tour with all ten members, the final ment was heartwarming and emotional. The members shared their gratitude and deep appreciation for their fans, their KQ staff, production team, and each other.

Proud to be back on tour in the U.S. JINSIK thanked road𝓨s for their amazing energy and hoped it was an unforgettable night for them all. Though he became emotional and teared up over his throat not being in its best condition, the moment turned heartfelt as xikers and road𝓨s comforted him.

“For the two weeks long tour, I didn’t feel tired. I just had so much fun with you, road𝓨s,” JUNMIN said. “I feel like I can do anything!”

The promise was made for road𝓨s to stick with xikers forever: “Let’s stay together forever, for a long time! I love you!”

xikers ended the night with their latest track, “Breathe,” showcasing again their infinite prowess and stamina. The members proudly pumped their chests during the chorus while executing multiple jumps with extreme precision. The choreography event had the audience out of breath. It was a nice way to end the show with the crowd hyped up as the group waved their goodbyes to road𝓨s.

It was clear that xikers was continuing to grow not only in their performances, but also in their music. Many concertgoers, both old and new, were given a delightful treat with nonstop, dynamic action from xikers. They have a lot of potential to be big, and it’s only a matter of time before they get there.
